Started school yesterday, my first non military-provided class since high school. Which isn't too different because I'm taking them at Ft. Carson and my classmates are pretty much all Active Duty.. ^^ Plus the classes have been consolidated to be half as long to accomodate the average soldier's busy schedule. So I lucked out. xD

Anyway.. I got to thinking that maybe I'm wrong/stupid for not wanting to go to an art school like a lot of artists I know are doing.. like what am I thinking, trying to study medicine when I failed the first time around? I mean, I'd love to take painting classes and life drawing classes and God knows I need the practice, but the interest has been sort of diminishing.

It started to happen when I met an 18-year-old Marine who lost a leg and fingers and a lot of skin to an IED, the first person I took care of at Walter Reed. It's amazing how something like that touches you. </semi-rant>

*sigh* Sorry, I'm kind of in an ill mood. I need to go shooting again. ><;;
